Appointments

Appointment Types

Appointments with your doctor are available from 8:30am Monday to Friday. Standard appointments are usually of 10 minutes duration, however, longer consultations can be arranged. If you have a complex problem, or feel as though you need extra time with the doctor, please ask the reception staff to book you a longer appointment so that there is plenty of time to attend to your issue. If we have your mobile phone number, we will send you a reminder the day before your appointment on behalf of the doctor.

On The Day Appointments

Same Day appointments with your doctor may be  available and are allocated on a first come basis.
Please call at 8:30am for one of these appointments with your doctor.

We offer a range of different appointment types to support our various services and to offer our patients flexible arrangements. There are a number of benefits to our different appointment types and we endeavour to offer a range of options, both face-to-face and electronic, to assist our patients in accessing our services.

In-Clinic ("face to face"): Appointments offered in our clinic with your requested doctor.

Telephone Consults*: Appointments via telephone. Telephone consults offer patients a convenient and flexible option to access care from home. There are limitations on what the doctor can offer via telephone, and we encourage patients to schedule an in-clinic consultation if you require examination or if you're unsure. Telephone consults are well suited to patients requiring repeat prescriptions, referrals or to follow-up on results. Telephone Consultations are not recorded.

Standard Consultation : 6-20 minutes

A standard consultation is 10 minutes and is usually long enough to address a single query or 1-2 simple concerns. If you have more than one issue to discuss please book a long consultation.

Extended Consults: Double/extended consultation times for complex issues or for patients wanting to discuss multiple issues. These appointments are double the length of our standard consultation times and are a great option for patients wishing to discuss multiple items or with complex matters that they believe may require additional time. Services that require a long consult include skin checks, mental health care plans and new patient consultations along with a number of other services. Please speak with our friendly reception staff if you're unsure whether you need an extended consult.

*Medicare requires a patient has a face-to-face ("in-clinic") consult with one of our doctors every 12 months to be eligible to receive a rebate on their telephone and video consults. If you are unsure whether you have had an in-clinic consult in the past 12 months please speak with our reception staff and they can advise if you're eligible.
