From 1 July 2026, Medicare is reintroducing the requirement for patients to provide consent for Assignment of Benefits (AoB) when attending a bulk billed appointment.
This consent allows Medicare to pay your rebate directly to Violet Town Medical Clinic, ensuring your consultation remains fully covered by Medicare with no out-of-pocket cost to you.
